Unquestionable Practicality
Throughout history we know that trade-driven explorations resulted in the emergence of new continents and states. In line with technological advancement trade has become a primary economic activity for globalizing business and bringing together people from diverse regions and cultures.
At present, the development of international trade allows us to purchase those goods and services we don’t have within our immediate reach.
Expanding consumer choice, export and import transactions generate economic development. Therefore, trade policy became a very political issue.
Legal norms and traditions are crucial to maintain international commerce and putting trade policy into practice. Some existing rules enjoy international application. Other rules are in the main national legislation and encompass domestic regulations.
In modern Ukrainian history, domestic regulation experienced numerous initiatives and adjustments. Of late practicality has been becoming very topical for all insiders, practitioners, national and international policymakers.
This issue of the UJBL was designed to promote discussion and exchange ideas across a wide range of emerging trade issues from the perspective of businessmen.
