Into the Final Strait
It was a huge challenge for Poland and Ukraine, the co-hosts of EURO 2012, to win the right to host the football championship and then to prepare successfully for it on time. It was evidently impossible to enjoy such benefits without a huge and very responsible piece of work to fulfill existing criteria. Plus, the whole region may have monitored and assessed preparations. This is a mix of unique investment opportunities, proof of professionalism, state image development, a huge amount of work and tremendous responsibility.
The preparations have now entered the final strait. However, we should not forget that EURO 2012 related work will also be in place after the championship.
At the very end of the outgoing year the UJBL editorial team is extremely excited to present this topical issue. Our contributors brought together plans and outcomes at the present time. The content is supplemented with a related overview of sports law regulation and commercial insight into the industry as such.
In addition our team initiated a discussion on private equity — dramatic developments worldwide and very promising ones for Ukraine and the entire CIS region.
We promise you a very exciting reading!
