CMS advised on the acquisition of RBS’s business interests

CMS Cameron McKenna has advised Orifjan Shadiyev, a prominent businessman and owner of Capital Bank Kazakhstan, on the acquisition of RBS’s business in Kazakhstan. The sale is subject to approval by the National Bank of Kazakhstan. The CMS Cameron McKenna team was led by Graham Conlon, a partner in the corporate and international private equity team and supported by senior associate Tetyana Dovgan.

Arzinger supported OSI Group

In March 2015 Arzinger completed the sale of two agribusiness companies of OSI Group in Ukraine — Agrosolutions LLC and Agrobeef LLC. The buyers are its former local management as well as a private German investor. OSI Group in Ukraine has retained the PJSC Kozyatyne Meat Processing Plant. The lawyers involved in the project included corporate and antitrust lawyers Alesya Pavlynska, Alla Nadzon, Kateryna Zviagina, Tykhin Alekseienko and Maryna Alekseyeva under the supervision of managing partner Timur Bondaryev.

EPAP Ukraine advised supplier of products and solutions for steel industry

Egorov Puginsky Afanasiev & Partners Ukraine acted as the Ukrainian legal counsel to the world’s leading supplier of products and solutions for the steel industry on an M&A-related employee transfer. The firm’s employment team provided comprehensive input related to the transfer of employees on an asset sale. Associate Yuriy Volovnik worked on that project with Aleksandra Yevstafyeva, head of the employment practice at Egorov Puginsky Afanasiev & Partners Ukraine, as led by partner Oksana Ilchenko.
