Leveraging Innovation for Growth

Ukrainian policy-makers continue to demonstrate an inconsistent approach towards the concept of innovative knowledge-based growth.

On the one hand, we are told that the innovative model is the ultimate goal for Ukraine. On the other, the amount of work done towards this is limited. IP rights became an essential part of the value of capital. Investments in intangible assets are growing faster than ever before. The latest high-stake disputes are good evidence of IP asset tradability and a good tool for fund raising.
