Vasil Kisil & Partners defended Edelweiss Development Ltd

In November 2014 Vasil Kisil & Partners Law Firm has successfully represented Edelweiss Development Ltd before the Commercial Court of Appeal in a dispute with the prosecution regarding invalidating and cancelling orders of the state administration. The Court decided to entirely dismiss prosecutor’s claim. The dispute had to do with the permission to develop land management projects and the approval of land use to change the purpose of the land located outside the populated locality from the agricultural land to land designated for residential and public buildings, as well as invalidation of state acts on the ownership of land. Thus, the court granted the appeal of the defendant and quashed the decision of first-instance court. Senior counsellor Vadym Belyanevych, senior associate Oleg Kachmar and associate Yuriy Kolos, supervised by partner Oleg Alyoshin represented the defendant in court.
