VKP defended the interests of an investment fund in tax litigation

Vasil Kisil & Partners' lawyers represented the interests of a closed non-diversified venture investment fund in a dispute with the tax authorities regarding taxing the assets of collective investment institutions created with the purpose of acquiring securities. The sum of CIT liabilities determined by the tax authority amounted to more than USD 5 million.The dispute was successfully resolved in the local court, as well as appellate and Superior Administrative Court of Ukraine. The Superior Administrative Court of Ukraine did not allow the tax authority to bring the case for review before the Supreme Court of Ukraine.
