Dentons expands its Ukrainian energy practice

Maksym Sysoiev has joined the Kiev office of Dentons as an associate in the Energy Practice. Maksym has nearly ten years of experience working in both international and domestic law firms in Ukraine.  Maksym’s practice focuses on the energy, oil and gas, agriculture, and infrastructure industries. He is highly regarded in the energy arena with significant experience in providing legal advice to both non-conventional and conventional energy projects, particularly in the renewables sector .Maksym is also well-versed in regulatory issues in the life sciences sector as well as on anticorruption legislation.

Maksym is a legal expert at the Ukrainian Bioenergy Association, at the Ukrainian Wind Energy Association, the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine. He is also a member of the Commission on Environmental Investments, Alternative and Renewable Sources of Energy at Entrepreneurial Council of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
