Avellum Partners strengthens dispute resolution practice

Avellum Partners welcomes Dmytro Marchukov as the new partner and the head of dispute resolution practice.

Dmytro has represented international and local clients in close to every kind of dispute resolution matters including national and cross-border litigation, transnational insolvency and receivership, asset tracing and recovery, fraud investigation, enforcement of mortgages and pledges (including against shareholdings in Ukrainian companies), commercial and investment arbitration under the major institutional and ad hoc rules, as well as recognition and enforcement of foreign judicial and arbitral awards.

Dmytro is joining Avellum Partners from the International Arbitration and Cross-Border Litigation Practice of Egorov Puginsky Afanasiev & Partners Ukraine.

Dmytro Marchukov is recommended among leading lawyers in dispute resolution by Chambers Global, Chambers Europe, Best Lawyers, GAR 100 and The Legal 500. He was the only Ukrainian lawyer recognized among “40 Europe outstanding up and comers” by Chambers Europe 2014. Dmytro received a Master of International Commercial Arbitration Law degree from the Stockholm University (LL.M.), a Master of International Law degree from the Institute of International Relations of the National Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv, as well as Bachelor of International Relations from the same school.
