Wolf Theiss holds a seminar on Ukraine-Poland Business Realtions and investment opportunities

On 17 May 2016 the Ukrainian and Polish offices of Wolf Theiss successfully held a seminar in Kiev, on Ukrainian-Polish Business Relations organized jointly with the Ukrainian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (UVCA) that Wolf Theiss Kyiv is one of the founders of. With Poland being of great interest for Ukrainian businesses and investors, the Ukraine-Poland: Connecting Values seminar covered the issues on the investment climate and business trends in Poland, highlighted investment opportunities in both countries as well as taxation, M&A, corporate governance and IP/IT law issues.

The Wolf Theiss speakers were represented by Loredana Allegranza and Dariusz Harbaty (Warsaw office) and Mykhailo Razuvaiev and Olena Vardamatska (Kiev office). The event was opened by Bartosz Musiałowicz, counsellor, head of Section at the Trade and Investment Promotion Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland to Ukraine. The Chairman of the Board of UVCA and the managing partner of AVentures Capital, Andriy Kolodyuk, spoke on the outlook of Ukrainian businesses and investors on Ukraine-Poland opportunities. Ulyana Shtybel, the executive director of the Warsaw Stock Exchange Representative Office in Ukraine, gave a presentation on the requirements and steps to be taken by companies in order to be listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The Expert of KredoBank PKO Bank Polski Group, Yuliia Pynzenyk, covered banking issues for Ukrainian-Polish businesses. The seminar was moderated by Ron Given and Taras Dumych, partners of Wolf Theiss Warsaw and Kiev offices accordingly.
