UBA gets new president
A meeting of the Legal Assembly of the Ukrainian Bar Association was held on 2 June within the framework of the West Ukrainian Legal Forum, which was dedicated to the election of the new higher echelon of the UBA. Andriy Stelmashchuk, managing partner of Vasil Kisil & Partners, was elected president of the Ukrainian Bar Association, while Vladimir Sayenko, partner of Sayenko Kharenko , elected vice-president. They polled 41 votes of members of the UBA Legal Assembly.
The following were elected to the Ukrainian Bar Association’s Board for 2017-2019:
Andriy Vishnevskiy, Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine;
Oleksandr Ilkov, partner at Law Firm Kesarev Consulting;
Volodymyr Kravchuk, judge of the Lviv Regional Administrative Court;
Volodymyr Marchenko, president of the Notary Chamber of Ukraine;
Yaroslav Ognevyuk, partner, attorney at law Doubinsky & Osharova Law Firm;
Olga Prosyanyuk, managing partner at AVER LEX;
Andrii Romanchuk, managing partner, attorney at law MORIS GROUP;
Igor Svechkar, partner at Asters;
Vladyslav Sokolovskyi, managing partner at Sokolovskyi and Partners;
Artem Stoyanov, senior partner at LCF;
Julian Khorunzhiy, partner at Ario Law Firm;
Maxim Sheverdin, associate professor of the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, managing partner at Sheverdin & Partners.
