KPMG Law Ukraine defended a telecommunication-industrial company in a tax dispute

KPMG Law Ukraine  represented the interests of one of the biggest world companies in telecommunication equipment and mobile phones area during the administrative appeal of tax notice-decisions.

 The subject of appeal was the increasing of VAT tax liability on UAH 12.5 mln owing to write-off of payables by the non-resident supplier. Thanks to an active participation of the Business Ombudsman Council in pre-trial appeal procedure and also because of the detail analyze of case materials, the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine has satisfied the claim and cancel the tax notice-decision in part of increasing the VAT tax liability.

 The engagement was led by Oksana Olekhova, partner, and Larysa Antoshchuk, attorney-at-law, senior manager at KPMG Law Ukraine. The KPMG Law Ukraine legal consultants’ engagement team also included Nataliia Musiienko, Yurii Oliinyk and Maria Hrabchak.
